The students of class 1 to 12 give the IMO Olympiad exam. Those candidates, who qualify the level 1 exam, get a chance to give the level 2 exam. The result for IMO level 1 will be released in the last week of March 2021, and the level 2 exam will be declared separately. The IMO Olympiad is also referred to as the International Mathematics Olympiad. This Olympiad exam is conducted every year by SOF to check out the mathematical skills of the students. Any student of class 1st-12th can give this exam. It is generally a two-level exam.
Level 1 exam is conducted during the school hours, and it is a 60-minute exam. The IMO exam question consists of around four sections: logical reasoning, Mathematical reasoning, Everyday Mathematics and Achievers section. Each section has a different weightage. This exam is taken considering the curriculum of CBSE, ICSE/ISC and the state board.
Level 2 exam is given by those students who got qualified in the level 1 exam. This exam is eligible for the students of class 3-12.
All the candidates are given a Student performance report that shows students' performance in their Olympiad exam.
