The International Olympiad of Mathematics (iOM), a test of competence and knowledge in the subject of Mathematics, is held annually at National and International levels, based on syllabus prescribed by CBSE/ ICSE and the State Boards. iOM recommends the competition for each and every student who is Studying Mathematics as their subject in the school.
Students judge themselves at International levels. The tests at local or regional level do not provide the right insight and judgement about the challenges ahead.
iOM builds a solid foundation for school students to excel in Mathematcis based on ICSE, CBSE and State board syllabus.
A comprehensive report based on Olympiad examination enables students to delever deeper into their strengths and weaknesses. It also motivates them towards excellence.

The iOM is that foremost educational event for which the math enthusiasts from all over wait eagerly, and which decisively excites the imagination of the students, uncovering their true potential. It is a test of competence and proficiency in Mathematics and is held annually at the National and International levels, based on syllabus prescribed by CBSE/ ICSE/ ICBSE and the other State Boards. Apart from the syllabus, a part of the test paper is based on Applied Mathematics. A comprehensive report based on Olympiad examination enables students to deliver deeper into their strengths and weaknesses and also motivates them towards excellence.
SilverZone foundation is an NGO that focuses on promoting competitive awareness among the students at school, national and global levels. SilverZone foundation conducts Olympiad exams that will improve the norm of proficiency among younger students. Along with this, it also urges the young talents to boost up their knowledge.
SilverZone foundation takes the Olympiad exam from class 1st to 12th, and the student's performance is recognized depending on the levels. Those students who get qualified for the level 1 exam will be eligible to give the Level 2 exam. The students who score the first rank in the Level 2 exam will get the opportunity to go for the Level 3 exam. All the outstanding students will get recognition in different forms like medals, trophies, and certificates.
All the students of classes 1 to 12 are eligible to take part in Level 1. Top 1000 Olympiad rank holders of level 1 from each class will compete for top positions in level 2. All first rank holders with minimum 60% of marks with minimum 100 students from a particular school are also eligible for Level 2. First rank holders of class 6th to 12th from level 2 are eligible for level 3 exam.
The participation fee is Rs 120 per student, out of which Rs 20 shall be retained by the school as its expenses towards honorarium of the invigilator and other expenses like postal expenses, DD charges and photocopying etc.

The Venue of the 1st & 2nd level will be the school itself, whereas 3rd level will be conducted at New Delhi.
The International Olympiad of Mathematics (iOM) is Three Level Exam.
The test is organized in the respective schools of the participants during the school hours
The language medium is English only.The questions will be of objective type in nature with multiple choice answers.There is no negative marking. OMR answer sheets are provided from class 3 onwards.
Level 1
All the students of classes 1st to 12th are eligible to take part in Level 1.
Level 2
Top 1000 International Olympiad Rank holder’s (iOM, iOS, iOEL) of first level from each class will compete for the top position in 2nd level examination provided they secure minimum 50% marks.
In addition to the above criteria, all Class 1st Rank holders having more than 75% marks (In Level 1) for schools having more than 100 participants in (iOM, iOS, iOEL) are also eligible for Level 2.
Level 3
Olympiad 1st Rank Holders of classes 6th to 12th from 2nd level will be eligible for Level 3. Level 3 will be conducted at New Delhi, India.
Level 1 exam is usually conducted in the month of November and December. Level 2 Jan/Feb, Level 3 Jul/Aug.
As iOM 2022 is being organised at National and International level, due to various reasons, it is not possible to conduct the olympiad on a specific single date. The Mathematics Olympiad will be conducted on 18th November 2022 and 15th December 2022. Please decide the date which is suitable to your school.
You may opt for either 18th November 2022 or 15th December 2022 as your International Olympiad of Mathematics date. Last date of registration is 31st August, 2022.
The 2nd Level will be conducted in the month of January/February 2022. The awards, prizes and certificates will be sent to the school within 3 to 4 weeks after the declaration of result at our website.

Each winner will be entitled to one award for an exam. The winners will be entitled to the higher level award only. For eg, the international top 3 rank holders will be entitled to awards based on their International ranks. Awards accruing to them for their Zonal ranks will be given to the next rank holder. Similarly, class award accruing to a Zonal award winner will be given to the next rank holder
