Unicus Olympiads is a brainchild of alumni from IIT Delhi, Stanford University, University of Chicago and Oxford University, along with a few other eminent professionals who have worked with the likes of Intel, HSBC, Fidelity, GE and A.T. Kearney.
They are India's first Summer Olympiad focusing on student's conceptual understanding of previous classes.
They conduct both, online and pen/paper mode of examination. The online examination is completely proctored through webcams. There's a mock test for you to get the exposure of giving an online exam.
For classes 2 to 11, the total fee is Rs. 225 (Rs 150 - Registration fee and Rs 75 - cost of 3 Practice Tests) for every subject per student ($10 for International students). While for class 1, the total fee is Rs. 175 (Rs 100 - Registration fee and Rs 75 - cost of 3 Practice Tests) for every subject (English, Mathematics and Science) per student ($8 for International students). There should be minimum 50 students from a school to participate in Unicus Olympiads.
In India, the UNICUS Olympiad is the first summer Olympiad to test qualitative and quantitative competencies in science, English, mathematics, and general knowledge.
