About IEO Olympiad Exams

IEO refers to the International English Olympiad that is organized by SOF. It is a competition among the students of class 1st to 12th that check out the students' English language and grammar. All the participating students will compete at the National, State, or regional level. A student can check out their hold on the English language after giving this exam.

This IEO Olympiad is conducted on two levels.

• Level 1 exams let the students judge themselves academically at different levels.
• The students who get qualified in the Level 1 exam give level 2 exam.

All the participating students are rewarded with certificates based on their ranks.

About Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF)

Science Olympiad Foundation conducts the Olympiad exam in different subjects like Science, Mathematics, Computer and General Knowledge. This foundation is generally a Not-for-profit organization. It is one of the most appreciated organizations and provides a high education level through their sample paper. The SOF cycle helps the students to enhance their skills, talents in various fields.

The Olympiad led by the Science Olympiad Foundation allows the students to improve their performance. All the SOF activities help the students test their insight at a specific level, and through SOF, students draw out the change in their way to deal with subjects to make them more interactive and practical.

Eligibility for IEO Olympiad Exam

English Olymiad Exams are conducted for class 1 to class 12 students studying in Indian Schools.

Olympiad examination is conducted through school only and, if your school is not participating you have very limited option for appearing in this exam.

Students from Class 1 and 2 are not required to appear for the 2nd level exam and are ranked based on their performance in the first level exam.

Students who qualify for the 2nd level exam include

• Top 5% of students class wise, who appear for the 1st level exam,
• State wise top 25 rank holders class wise, and
• Class toppers from each participating school where at least 25 students from a class appear in the exam & scores 50% qualifying marks.

IEO Olympiad Exam Pattern

Most of English Olympiads are Two Level Exam

Level 1:

• Paper based, multiple-choice (MCQ) exam conducted in colobaration with school
• Exam is conducted for class 1 to 12
• The medium of the test is English
• Mostly the questions are asked from NCERT/CBSE syllabus
• This is open to all students studing in participating school.

Level 2:

• Based on performance in level 1 exam, only top performing students gets qualified for this exams.
• This is also a paper based, multiple-choice (MCQ) exam
• Normally, questions are asked from the NCERT/CBSE syllabus of the participating student's class
• Difficulty level of questions are little more than what was there for level 1 exam

IEO Olympiad Exam Syllabus

Most of the Olympiad exams evaluate the child on the syllabus similar to that Kid s are studying in the school. However, at the same time questions asked in these exams are quite different than what Kid s learn in the school. Questions are trickier and conceptual.

IEO Olympiad Exam Result

As the Science Olympiad Foundation conducts the IEO Olympiad. This exam's result will be declared in the year 2021, and it will be available in both the offline and online modes.
