Learn Class 3 Math - Geometry

Whenever we look near to us, we see different objects of different shapes and sizes. Also, different figures hold different similarities. However, the question is how to find out which figure is what.

This figure is considered Geometry. Geometry is that branch of mathematics that deals with the properties and measurement of different lines, points, angles, or shapes.

Let us learn further some basic shapes and definitions:

Point - A point is a specific location on the space that does not have any length, breadth, and height.

Ray - A ray is the straight path extended to a single direction only and does not contain any endpoints.

Line - A Line is a straight path that is extended to both directions. It does not have any endpoints, and it is one-dimensional.

Line Segment - It is a part of the line that holds two definite endpoints.

Curved line - It is directly similar to the line, but it is curvy and consists of endpoints.

Circle - It is a closed shape where every point is at the same distance from a fixed point, considered the center. Also, it doesn't have any sides.

The boundary of the Circle is called Circumference.

The distance at the boundary's point from the center is called Radius.

The students need to understand Class 3 Geometry to gain a better understanding of it.
