Water

Water is a significant natural resource, and it is required for all living things to exist. Human beings need water to live and grow. Plants and animals also need water to survive.

Sources of water

The vital source of water is rain. The rainwater fills the seas, oceans, and lakes, and we use this water for various purposes. Many living things live under this water.

The rest of the water seeps into the ground. This water is called groundwater. We can draw groundwater by various methods like wells, hand pumps, etc.

  • We need water to drink and prepare food.
