  • Wild animals
  • Domestic animals

Wild animals

A wild animal is one that humans are unable to tame. Wild animals are found in jungles, forests, or even in zoos. The wild animals hunt their food and are dangerous.

A few examples of wild animals include - lions, tigers.

Domestic animals

The animals which human beings can tame are called domestic animals. These animals depend on humans for their general needs like food and water.

A few examples of domestic animals include - dogs, cats, cows.

Pet animals

Pet animals are domestic animals humans keep for a fellowship. The keepers adore and love them.

A few examples of pet animals include - dogs, cats, etc.

Farm animals

Farm animals are domestic animals that humans keep for a specific purpose like meat, milk, etc.

A few examples of farm animals include - chickens, cows, etc.

Land animals

The animals that reside on land are land animals.

A few examples of Land animals include - horse, giraffe

Water animals

Animals that reside in water are water animals.

A few examples of Water animals include - seahorses, whales.
