A word which adds something to the meaning of a verb, and tells us how a thing is done, when it is done, or where it is done, is called an Adverb.

Examples of Adverb of How

1. He drives carefully.
2. She spoke softly.
3. Girl runs quickly.
4. She writes neatly.

Examples of Adverb of When

1. Dia got up early.
2. I saw Sia today.
3. My mom came late.
4. I went to the doctor yesterday.

Examples of Adverb of Where

1. The boys are playing upstairs.
2. It is very sunny outside.
3. He lives here.
4. The bottle is there.
