Simple Present Tense
Simple Present tense refers to an action that happen regularly or that is permanently happening.
Examples:
- We play football in the ground.
- They sleep late on Saturdays.
- She only eats rice.
- They watch movie every Friday.
- The Earth revolves around the Sun.
Notes: In present tense, we add an ‘s’ to the verb when names or pronouns he/she/it are used.
Simple Past Tense
Simple Past tense refers an action that has taken place already.
Examples:
- Dia walked along the road.
- The dog jumped onto the bed.
- We played football in the park.
- He played the violin.
- I studied French.
