Money and temperature are relevant chapters of the mathematics subject that every class 5 student should learn. Money and temperature are both very important in our daily lives; money allows you to determine the value of a particular commodity, and temperature helps you determine the object's present temperature.

What is money?

Money is defined as a coin or currency, which you exchange with the shopkeeper to receive goods. We use the phrases "Rupees" and "Paisa," which signify money in our daily lives.

Money plays a significant role in our daily life to know how to evaluate the value of money to easily purchase essential items. This is why understanding the concept of money is essential for the grade five students.

Temperature

Temperature is used to measure the level of hotness and coldness of the first particular object. A thermometer is a tool that is used to determine the temperature of the body.

Scales

There are usually two different types of temperature scale that are commonly in use:

1. The Fahrenheit Scale

The first Fahrenheit scale ranges from 32° Fahrenheit to 212° Fahrenheit, where 32° F means the freezing point of water and 212° F means boiling point of water.

2. The Celsius Scale

The second temperature scale is the Celsius scale, also known as a centigrade scale that ranges from 0°C to 100°C where 0° Celsius means the freezing point of water and 100°C means the boiling point of water.
