Learn Class 10 Math - Statistics

The term statistics include various terms, including the mean, median, and mode. The mean is the summation of all the nth terms, and the median is the middle value of all the selected terms. And mode is a term that occurs most of the time in the given series.

We have to take the cumulative frequency to get the solution to some terms.

Cumulative frequency

The term cumulative frequency refers to the sum of all the frequencies in a given sequence.

Grouped data

  • Grouped data is the set of data, i.e., present in groups.
  • Like the intervals ,i.e., 0-10, 10-20, 20-30, 30-40, and so on.
  • And they are present with their respective frequency.

Ungrouped data

  • The ungrouped data is present in the set form.
  • Or we can say that it is present in the original form, like 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, etc.

Frequency

The term frequency refers to the times when observation will get set up.

Class interval

All the set data is present in the set form concerning the gap of the same intervals. The class width is known as the difference between the upper-class limit and the lower class limit.

Class width = upper limit - lower limit
