Learn Class 9 Science - Force and Laws of Motion

The term motion refers to the state of rest when it changes its state concerning surroundings and time. Different types of motion are available, like linear motion, vibratory motion, scalar motion, and many more.

Force

  • The term force refers to the energy which works as an attribute of the main actions.

Types of force

When we see the types of force, these are classified according to two types. These force types are mentioned here below:

  • Balanced force:

When we apply the force on the object, including the no effect of force, that is known as balanced force.

  • Unbalanced force:

The unbalanced force is the force that will change its speed concerning the direction. The unbalanced force will move in the same direction in which the force moves.

Law of motion

The Law of motion will be present in the continuity state. It is a state that moves in a straight line. The Law of inertia is considered the first Law of motion. It depends on the mass, like the more mass will make more inertia or vice-versa.

The Second Law of motion is momentum. The momentum is the multiplication of the velocity and mass. F is always equal to ma,i.e., F = m/a.
