Meaning:

The verb is the word that helps to identify a subject in a particular sentence. Mainly there are two types of verbs:

  • Main Verb
  • Helping Verb

Three forms of the verb:

There are three forms of verbs. These are:

  • The 1st Form represents the Present.
  • The 2nd Form represents the Past.
  • The 3rd Form represents the Future.

Use of verbs in the sentences:

The verb makes the meaning of the sentence complete. And also helps in knowing the subject. Some common examples of verbs in the sentences are:

  • The meeting is cancelled.
  • The stadium is full.
  • The news is not confirmed.
  • I am confused by the question.
  • The bottle is full.
  • Mahi and Seema are cousins.
